The Mojave National Preserve has native american rock art throughout it’s expansive preserve. The Cow Cove site has many petroglyphs scattered throughout. It’s a relatively easy location to get to, with some light off-roading (although the sand can get quite deep). You can no longer drive to the main site, but it’s a short, easy 1 – 1.5 mile hike to the main petroglyph site. But, you can extend this hike as long as you’d like, by continuing to explore the cliffs and canyons throughout this area.
