The White River Narrows archaeological district is located in the Pahranagat Valley area of Lincoln County, north of Hiko, NV.  I truly love this area of Nevada…it’s one of the most beautiful areas of the American west.  It’s very rural and the natural beauty is second-to-none.  There’s a great amount of petroglyphs, pictographs, and other remnants of our history located throughout.  Lincoln County has some great literature they’ve published with information on many of these sites.  The images shown below are from the “Amphitheater” location of White River Narrows.
