The Calendar Fence is located within the White River Narrows archaeological district in Lincoln County, NV. It contains two panels, with the main one being called “the calendar fence.” It’s speculated that the long line with dashes are used to mark key days of the year (e.g., spring equinox, etc.) as shadows cast along the line. This is a beautiful area and the broader White River Narrows has lot of ancient petroglyphs to explore.
