The Anasazi Ridge petroglyph location is located in the town of Ivins, UT.  It’s a well known location that includes a nice trail and signage.  The trail name is known as the Tempi’po’op Trail (which means “rock writing”).  There are several archaeological digs that have happened at this site, where the remains of the Anasazi settlements were excavated.  There’s a location with some of the Anasazi homes left for the public to see (it’s fenced off), although they’ve mostly been re-buried (to protect them).

Most people that hike this easy trail, go to the top and see some of the boulders with the petroglyphs and assume those are all of them.  And, while they definitely contain some awe-inspiring designs, to see the best petroglyphs requires some light scrambling on the cliff/ridge side.

The sky gods. Satan and his little band of hoards. They’ve been appearing to primitive civilizations as gods since the dawn of time. They are like teenagers who got hold of Daddy’s car and cruz up and down the boulevard like they are big stuff.
