This might be a blog about the American Southwest and Desert, but the inclusion of Yellowstone National Park just “feels” right. So many legends and myths of the Old West are encompassed in Yellowstone…amazing geology, geysers, free roaming herds of bison, hundreds of waterfalls, spectacular mountains framed by endless plains, etc. There’s so much written about Yellowstone that I won’t bore you with the details here.
