Delamar Dry Lake (aka Texas Dry Lake) is located in Lincoln County’s Paharangat Valley area.  Besides the dry lake, there are a few rock art locations (mainly petroglyphs) within the dry lake location (and tons outside of the dry lake).  This dry lake has a long history of use with the air force and space programs, used for emergency landings.

There are many dry lakes (aka playas) throughout the Mojave and Great Basin deserts.  Perhaps the most famous (infamous?) is Groom Dry Lake, where Area 51 is based.
