Jean Dry Lake is located just south of Henderson, NV, near the towns of Jean & Roach. It’s a popular recreational location for 4-wheeling and shooting. You can also access the backside trails to get to Sloan Canyon, to see over 1,700 petroglyphs. On the edge of the lake bed and directly off he main road (Las Vegas Blvd) is the Seven Magic Mountains art installation. This Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone was commissioned for this land art project, which contains locally sourced and colored boulders, going 40′ into the air.
