Lone Rock is a nice, small resting place at the Valley of Fire, directly off the main road.  It’s exactly what it’s name implies…a large, lone rock, which includes a park provided grill and picnic table.  I suspect most people drive right by, heading to the CCC Cabins.  And, those that do stop at Lone Rock most likely don’t realize the rock with the petroglyphs is right next to them.
