The large, flat face of Echo Rock provided a perfect canvas for ancient people to create these petroglyphs.  This area is located within the Mt. Irish Archaeological District in the  beautiful Paharanagat Valley area of Lincoln County, NV.  The surrounding area offers endless opportunities for exploring, hiking, camping and other outdoor activities.  All throughout the Pahranagat Valley you’ll find plenty of ancient Native American rock art, including the very unique Pahranagat Man style petroglyphs.
